"Alcohol risks surge as freshmen in college transition to sophomores here at the University of Iowa, a UI health official said Tuesday."
"Sarah Hansen, UI associate director for education for student health, said because built-in protections such as living on campus and learning communities usually disappear after freshman year, students are at greater risk for alcohol-related problems in their sophomore year. ..."
